The Colourblind®
The Colourblind® activity is a communication exercise which develops team building skills and helps teams recognise problems caused with imprecise communication and language. It is a verbal problem solving experiential learning activity that is used to improve team problem solving and listening skills, and is played in a small group.
-
Groups of 6-16 people solve the puzzle of which 2 pieces are missing from a complete list of 30 pieces.
-
Each blindfolded person describes in detail what they are holding and has to find out what the others have.
-
Without seeing what they are holding and only imagining what the others are holding, they ask clarifying and elaborating questions and take responsibility for how to do this.
